your course instructors have studied patterns of victimization to prepare you psychologically as well as physically.
this class series is crafted to help you identify potentially dangerous situations quickly. you can also expect to practice DEFINING, setting, and maintaining personal boundaries.
divert and deescalate
ASSAULTS ARE OFTEN PREDICATED ON VICTIM SURPRISE AND SHOCK. THIS course CAN REDUCE VULNERABILITIES FOR INTIMIDATION BY HONING AN AWARENESS OF SELF AND ENVIRONMENT, AND BY PROVIDING DE-ESCALATION AND DIVERSION TACTICS.
you can also expect to learn self-regulation strategies to help you maintain a sense of calm under distress.
develop physical skills
learn how to use the tools at your disposal, including your own force. this curriculum covers vital striking points and techniques, use of breath and positioning for power, and physical defense strategies from standing, sitting, and on the ground.
instructors will emphasize efficiency, accuracy, and reflexive techinques.
